At the heart of AmCham Belgium’s work are our committees, made up of 400 volunteers from across sectors. These committees steer the Chamber’s initiatives, supporting membership and communication efforts, engaging with peers and policymakers, advising on policy positions, and addressing critical issues to strengthen Belgium’s status as a leading hub for investment, innovation, and talent.
This work is driven by two types of committees; 1) supporting committees and 2) policy committees. The three supporting committees guide the Chamber’s communications and membership efforts and provide a platform for young professionals to develop key skills. The six policy committees play an active role in shaping policy discussions and the Chamber’s position on various legislative issues.
We take great pride in the impactful work of our committees and the deep commitment of each member. Every year, their efforts contribute to meaningful impact and strengthen our community.
Each committee is led by an elected leadership team that brings expertise and provides strategic direction. Every two years, AmCham Belgium holds elections, allowing each committee to select the leadership team that will represent them. Elections for the 2025-2027 leaders were finalized in March, and we are thrilled to announce the impressive leadership team that will guide our committees for the coming two years.
Read on to discover each committee’s leadership team and hear what they have to say about their new roles!
