AmCham Belgium is proud to spotlight DiversiCom, a Brussels-based non-profit organization, whose work is transforming professional inclusion across Belgium.
Read on to discover how DiversiCom is helping unlock the full potential of talent through inclusive employment.
Meet DiversiCom: Empowering Employment Through Inclusion
Founded in 2014, DiversiCom is a non-profit organization that supports people with disabilities in their journey toward meaningful and sustainable employment. Their approach is both person-centered and employer-focused, ensuring that recruitment is successful not only for the candidate but also for the company.
DiversiCom offers personalized job coaching for individuals with disabilities, helping them find employment that matches their skills. Support includes CV preparation, interview coaching, identifying workplace accommodations, applying for grants, and post-placement follow-up. The guidance DiversiCom provides is focused on helping candidates find work in regular companies—rather than adapted or sheltered workspaces.
"DiversiCom nurtures the dream that every person with a disability can find their rightful place in our society — to live with dignity through meaningful work, be recognized both individually and collectively for their potential, and be supported with respect for their specific needs.
We aim to bridge the worlds of disability and employment to help build a society that leaves no talent behind.
One in four families is affected by disability. 80% of disabilities occur during a person’s lifetime. While the diversity of profiles and talents is a fact, inclusion is a societal choice — one that deserves our full attention.
We are deeply grateful to AmCham and its members for their involvement and support in this collective endeavor!"![]()

Celebrating 10 Years of Impact
In June of 2025, DiversiCom celebrated a decade of powerful transformation—enriching lives, supporting families, and making businesses stronger—all while saving € 20 million for the Belgian community through its work helping people reach employment.
This milestone was marked by a celebratory evening at the Auditorium of the National Bank of Belgium, attended by key dignitaries including His Majesty the King, Federal Ministers Vanessa Matz (Public Action and Modernization) and Rob Beenders (Disability), Minister-President of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation Elisabeth Degryse, Brussels Minister for Employment Bernard Clerfayt, Walloon Minister for Disability Yves Coppieters, the Mayor of Brussels Philippe Close, and Governor Sophie Lavaux.
At the event, around 100 talented employees with disabilities interacted with partner companies, public partners, sister associations, donors, and supporters for an evening of celebration and inclusion.
The Results: 10 Years of Professional Inclusion
In partnership with Bain & Company Brussels and BNP Paribas Fortis, DiversiCom conducted an impact study, 10 Years of Professional Inclusion, to highlight both the social and economic benefits of DiversiCom’s work.
