'Spaces' Coworking Spaces Come to Brusssels

The global player is revolutionizing coworking, and taking it to a higher level!

The ‘Spaces European District Center’ recently opened for business right in the heart of the European district of Brussels. With some 4,400 m² of offices with an innovative design, coworking spaces and meeting rooms, this innovative office concept is aimed at startups as well as freelancers and (inter)national companies who need an inspiring, stimulating and pleasant workspace to boost their development.

The purpose of Spaces is to provide a creative, personal and stimulating working environment in which a community of visionary startups, entrepreneurs, SMEs and international companies can meet and inspire each other.

A pleasant place to enjoy

The ‘Spaces European District Center’ is laid out on five storeys in a modern building in rue Belliard (no. 40). The natural light which comes through the huge windows and the indoor layout make it a most unusual coworking space.

It has the brand new trendy Green Kitchen restaurant-café which leads directly to the real centre of interest of the Spaces centre: a garden of around 400 m² with a century-old chestnut tree as its highlight. People can work or relax there when the weather is fine.

We are revolutionizing the way of working and taking it to a higher level.  Spaces is also a pleasant place for taking advantage of the moments when you don't have to work. In parallel, we aim to develop and strengthen a community of professionals sharing the same ideas, through various activities such as workshops, lectures, networking lunches and other events.

William Willems, CEO of Spaces Belgium

Whether the customer needs just a few or several hundred square metres of space, for the short or the long term, everything is possible. A membership with access to the business club (coworking space) during office hours costs €149 per month.  A private office with access to the business club is already available from €369 per month.

The 'Spaces European District Center' can be reached easily by public transport. Trône and Maalbeek metro stations, and two 'Villo' bike-sharing stations are within a couple of minutes' walk, while various bus routes pass not far from the centre. It also has 29 parking spaces and a bicycle garage.

20 Spaces for 2020

In order to meet growing demand for coworking spaces, the first Spaces in Belgium was launched in the Pegasus Park in Diegem. In 2019, the next one will open for business very shortly in Malines at Kardinaal Mercierplein and others will follow in Antwerp (Post X) and in Brussels (at the Bourse and at Tour&Taxis).

Demand for our coworking spaces is literally booming. Spaces Brussels Airport in Diegem is already full, and I am convinced that our new office in Brussels will fill up very quickly. By 2020, I am targeting the opening of no fewer than 20 locations in Belgium

William Willems, CEO of Spaces Belgium

At international level, the concept of offices is changing fast: Today, the Spaces community has around 250 offices around the world.
