PwC and ABSI are announcing that they have entered an agreement whereby PwC will acquire 100% of the shares of ABSI. In doing so PwC strengthens its fast-growing Salesforce services. ABSI employs more than 100 people in its offices in Belgium (Brussels) and the Netherlands (Nieuwegein).
PwC has been expanding its services in Europe for several years now. The acquisition of Human Interface Group in 2018 was also in line with the same growth strategy. ABSI is a well established system integrator focused on Salesforce. Their expertise is therefore particularly complementary to our consulting and digital services. We help our customers from strategy through execution, guiding and working with them throughout the entire value chain of digital transformations.
Axel Smits, Chairman of PwC Belgium
We live in a global economy, and thanks to e-commerce and other technologies your client base is now potentially 7.6 billion people. This reality creates many opportunities, but is also a major challenge for businesses. At PwC we work with our clients to develop their business strategies and optimise the customer experiences. ABSI brings PwC deep Salesforce expertise which will reinforce our ability to implement these strategies and develop concrete Salesforce solutions. And PwC will continue to add certified Salesforce employees to meet this growing client demand.
Floris Ampe, Digital Services & Innovation Leader, PwC Belgium.
What I like most is that PwC and ABSI both add value but at different places. Together we will delight our customers and make them more successful than ever. While our focus will continue to be 100% Salesforce, the power of PwC will allow us to start projects at the strategic level. This is why PwC and ABSI match perfectly.
Doubi Ajami, founder and CEO of ABSI
Also Salesforce responds to the agreement between the two companies:
The combination of ABSI's deep Salesforce expertise with the power of PwC is great news for our customers and it is a great illustration of the Salesforce ecosystem’s vitality.
Bob Vanstraelen, Area Vice President Benelux Salesforce
The acquisition will be completed once the regular conditions precedent have been met, which is scheduled to be before the summer. Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
