11th June 2014 - Interel is launching a dedicated global public affairs practice run out of Berlin, Brussels, London, Washington DC, Beijing and Singapore.
The new Global Practice will target multi-country public affairs accounts with the support of the Interel Global Partnership, which contractually links Interel to 30 of the world’s leading independent public affairs consultancies. With offices in 45 countries, including the BRICs, the Interel Global Partnership represents a combined total worth of over €100m and works with some 1,400 clients.
The Global Practice will be headed by Jan Kallmorgen and managed by a team of 5 senior experts who will run global accounts in their own time zone.
Kallmorgen, who joined the company in January 2014 as a partner, builds on his experience of consulting major corporations and investment firms, and working at international policy institutions and Goldman Sachs.
The Global Practice will offer a number of new services developed specifically for the global market including a web-based global issues tracking system, international policy briefings, global positioning workshops and a consulting programme targeted at clients seeking to build a global public affairs function.
The announcement is being made at Interel’s Global Partnership Summit, which is attended by the CEOs of each Partnership member and takes place over two days (11th & 12th June) in Brussels.
Jan Kallmorgen said:
“Interel’s Global Practice offers both strategic advisory for multinational clients and coordinated public affairs services through a single point of contact in all markets where our clients do business.”
Interel Group CEO, Fredrik Lofthagen, said:
“We’re seeing growing demand for a one-stop-shop approach to global public affairs and we are proud to be in a position to work with great partner firms around the world”.
