Join us for the first luncheon of our 2018 Young Professionals @ Noon series! This time we will meet with Thomas Spiller, Vice President, Public Policy, Europe, Middle East & Africa at The Walt Disney Company, a role he took on in September 2011. Mr. Spiller is based in Brussels, Belgium, and drives the company's global public policy initiatives throughout the region.
Previously, he was Vice President, Global Public Policy for SAS software, a company he joined in 2007. Before working at SAS, Spiller was Counsel, Transport & Energy, Europe, Middle East, Africa at General Electric. He joined GE in 2003 after over seven years working in the nuclear industry as International Affairs Manager for Areva, the global nuclear services company. Spiller joined Areva from the Office of the French Prime Minister where he was a Policy Officer for two years.
Mr. Spiller, a native of Paris, France, graduated from La Sorbonne University in Paris with degrees in Law, Political Science, Defense, and International Relations.
These events are aimed at young professionals (< 35) at the beginning of their careers who would benefit from the advice a CEO or head of company can give them about building their careers.
