Many US data and financial transaction processing companies are trying to find a balanced position in the area of law enforcement and are particularly concerned about the negative perception in Belgium of US companies and their offerings, e.g. in relation to the US Government’s “Cloud Act”.
At this breakfast roundtable, Lorelien Hoet, Government Affairs Director Belux at Microsoft, will moderate an in-depth discussion and review what steps could possibly be taken to address this negative perception and facilitate business for these companies operating in Belgium.
The meeting will be held under Chatham House Rule. Breakfast will be provided. The number of participants will be limited to 20 and is by invitation only.
