The internationally renowned enterprise Plug-and-Play has been approved by the FIT and will now offer its facilities to Flemish companies.
Flemish businesses of a small to medium size now potentially have an option open to them in the form of the Plug-and-Play center in Silicon Valley, California, which offers support to high-tech companies that are starting up. Via the FIT, Flemish companies with aspirations to operate on the West Coast of America can apply for a subsidy of 50% to use the service, which will offer significant new support to businesses wishing to expand to America.
They already have several service centers set up around the world in locations including India and China, and this new connection with Silicon Valley is a valuable resource.
The signing of the two companies was attended by the Flemish Prime Minister Kris Peeters along with Vice Prime Minister Ingrid Lieten. Peeters commented how he sincerely hoped that many Flemish companies would take advantage of this new connection in Silicon Valley, CA.
