The Committee
The Young Professionals Committee of AmCham Belgium has been initiated to stimulate and optimize the dialogue between the younger professionals in the US-Belgian business community. The group is aimed for participants who are in their 20s and 30s and is an ideal and unique opportunity to enable networking, socializing and exchanging ideas & knowledge amongst fellow professionals/colleagues. Experienced professionals and non-members are also welcome to attend the Young Professional events.
I MISSION & ASPIRATIONS
The Committee’s role is to stimulate and optimize the dialogue between the younger professionals (~18-35) and the American/Belgian business community in Belgium.
Overall, the Committee aspires to:
- Promote and organize specific YP events
- Have YPs representation at all AmCham Belgium events
II GOALS & OBJECTIVES
- Enhance AmCham’s added value for all members
- Work on the long-term future and sustainability of AmCham by getting the next generation involved
- Act as an innovative sounding board for all Committees and members (new ideas, new topics…)
- Increase the visibility of AmCham to YP (cf. Trends, Alumni,etc )
- Make AmCham events worthwhile for YP
- Share the knowledge of today’s top execs with future executives
- Offer networking possibilities both for YP and senior executives
