General Statement of Privacy
The American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium (AmCham Belgium) respects the privacy of its members and of those who visit its web site, www.amcham.be. Any information you submit to www.amcham.be will not be used in any manner to which you have not consented. While AmCham Belgium does analyze its web site logs to monitor the flow of traffic and make improvements to the site’s content, its web site logs are not personally identifiable and no attempt to link them to individual visitors to this site is made.

Personally identifiable information
We do not collect personally identifiable information about you on AmCham Belgium’s site without your knowledge or action. Your information is collected from the forms on our website that you are required to fill in whenever you apply for membership, register for an event, order a product or service, subscribe to a publication, request information or participate in a survey. The information that you provide to us is stored in the files of AmCham Belgium and is used to process your request and provide you with AmCham membership benefits, services, events or publications. It is not sold to third party data compilation services.

Information that we collect from your membership application forms, whether in electronic or paper format, is used to compile AmCham Annual Directory, published, printed and distributed offline every October per tradition as well as to update AmCham Directory Online, updated monthly in the Members’ Only section of the web site. From time to time, we make the name, company, address and fax numbers available to other AmCham members as well as non-member companies known to AmCham Belgium, although not email addresses..

Use of "Cookies"
AmCham uses cookies on this website. A cookie is a small file that is sent from the website server to your computer's hard drive when you consult the website. The code that is contained in the cookie makes it possible to identify your PC when you visit the site. The cookies are used to facilitate the navigation through the site for AmCham members only.

Third Party use of personal information
AmCham Belgium's web site contains links to other Internet websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites, including such sites' use of any information.

Modifications
AmCham Belgium reserves the right to amend this privacy regulation at any time in accordance with the Act of December 8, 1992 (and the Royal Decree of February 13, 2001 implementing the Act of December 8, 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data) on the protection of privacy.
